coa_hendricks_3cWhat is a County Council on Aging?

CICOA Aging & In-Home Solutions has established local, independent councils on aging in each of the eight counties it serves. Each council is comprised of dedicated volunteers who help define the problems and needs of older Hoosiers in their county and identify solutions.

The Hendricks County Council on Aging has a number of activities going on to support Seniors in Hendricks County.

Food Drive: We are collecting non perishable goods in businesses around Hendricks County to be donated to the Hendricks County Senior Center food pantry. Food will be collected until 11/23/2015.

Hat, Gloves and Scarf Drive: We are also collecting NEW hats, gloves and scarves which will be distributed to seniors in need.

Giving Tree: The Hendricks County Council on Aging will provide gifts to 30 seniors in need from the Hendricks County Senior Center. These gifts will be given at the December 22nd Christmas Party sponsored by the Council on Aging.

Membership is free and open to anyone or any organization that has a sincere interest in the welfare and well-being of older adults in Hendricks County.
