Volunteer at Safe at Home Yard Clean-Up Day
As a volunteer, you can make a difference by making homes and yards safe and accessible for daily living and helping to prevent falls.
Projects may include:
- General yard maintenance like raking, weeding, mowing and trimming
- Cutting back overgrown bushes and shrubs
- Clearing walkways
- Removing debris, trash
- Mulching and planting flowers
- Companionship for the clients
If you are interested in bringing a group of volunteers to work together, please contact Dan Amonett by email or call (317) 803-6079 to discuss how we can best accommodate your group.
Volunteers must be 12 or older, and minors (ages 12-17) must be accompanied by an adult.

Donate
Home maintenance, repairs and accessibility modifications can be costly, especially for seniors on a limited income. Your donation not only alleviates the burden of home maintenance costs, but it also makes a home safer, preventing falls and costly hospital visits.
