How Door2Door Senior Transportation Works
CICOA Door2Door senior transportation provides rides for medical appointments, pharmacy needs and grocery shopping* within Indianapolis/Marion County. CICOA can provide wheelchair transportation.
*limit 4 grocery bags maximum due to space
Way2Go transportation is available Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. and is provided to Indianapolis seniors at a discounted rate.
Eligibility
- at least 60 years of age
- live and travel in Marion County
- review CICOA’s HIPAA Privacy Practices
How to Get Started
To use the Door2Door transportation service, you must first complete and submit a Senior Transportation Application (Online / English / Spanish). If you have an existing appointment and need to schedule a ride, please provide the trip details (date, time, destination, and any needed accommodations) at the time you submit your application. Your application will be processed within 3-5 business days of receiving it in our office, at which time you will be notified by mail regarding the status of your request.
Trips must be scheduled no more than 30 days in advance and at least 48 hours prior to the requested trip. However, availability is not guaranteed, so please call as soon as possible. Trips also can be scheduled by calling (317) 803-6153 or emailing transportation@cicoa.org.
Complete an Application (Online / English / Spanish) form prior to first-time use for any travel option and return it to CICOA.

If someone other than the consumer will be scheduling trips, a Proxy Form authorizing this representative must be completed. Separate forms must be completed for each authorized representative. Forms can be completed at any time. Download the Way2Go Proxy Form here.
Cancellation Policy
Passengers needing to cancel a scheduled trip must contact the Way2Go Transportation Department at (317) 803-6153 (press option #2) at least two hours prior to the requested pick-up time. If a passenger accumulates three late cancellations or no-shows within 60 days, they may be prohibited from scheduling trips for the next 30 days.
