Financials & Accountability

Financial transparency and accountability are the foundation of our business.

It's important to us that you have confidence in CICOA—that you believe in our work, the strength of our partnerships, and the expertise of our staff. That you trust us to do what we promise.

In 2018, CICOA first was recognized as achieving the highest standards in case management for long-term services, earning the prestigious three-year accreditation from the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). This accreditation was renewed in 2021 for three additional years. Our Aging & Disability Resource Center also has earned five-year accreditation by the Alliance of Information & Referral Systems (AIRS).

In addition, CICOA has received GuideStar’s Platinum Seal of Transparency, the highest level possible, by sharing extensive information about our missions, programs, leadership, etc.; in-depth financial information; qualitative information about goals, strategies, and vision, and the progress we are making toward our mission.

We also invite you to view CICOA’s annual reports and tax returns below—valuable because they show the health of the organization and build on the confidence you already have in us.

If the social needs we address are important to you, we’re pleased. If you’ve chosen to give to CICOA because you want to make a difference for older adults, people with disabilities and caregivers in Central Indiana, we’re grateful. If your values match our mission, we’re thrilled. But more than anything, we’re honored by your confidence, and we plan to continue earning it.

Quality, Ethics & Compliance

Part of our responsibility to our community is to strive every day to make decisions that improve the lives of our clients, our colleagues and ourselves. CICOA created the Quality, Ethics & Compliance Program to help us achieve this goal.

The CICOA Code of Conduct provides guidance to ensure that work is done in an ethical and legal manner. It emphasizes the shared common values that guide CICOA’s actions and specifies resources to help resolve compliance questions. Additionally, CICOA complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

Compliance Hotline

Effective lines of communication are essential to CICOA’s Quality, Ethics & Compliance Program. You may anonymously report potential violations through an independent provider, 24 hours a day/7 days a week.
