CICOA Aging & In-Home Solutions has been awarded a Top Workplaces 2024 honor by Indianapolis Star Top Workplaces, landing in the No. 3 spot in the large business category.

The Top Workplaces awards recognize employers that build and nurture a company culture that is highly rated in the eyes of their employees. This list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology partner Energage LLC. The confidential survey uniquely measures the employee experience and its component themes, including employees feeling Respected & Supported, Enabled to Grow, and Empowered to Execute, to name a few.

“Building a culture where people feel valued and appreciated is paramount to delivering exceptional service to the older adults, people with disabilities and family caregivers we serve,” said Tauhric Brown, president and CEO of CICOA.

“Earning a Top Workplaces award is a badge of honor for companies, especially because it comes authentically from their employees,” said Eric Rubino, Energage CEO. “That’s something to be proud of. In today’s market, leaders must ensure they’re allowing employees to have a voice and be heard. Top Workplaces do this, and it pays dividends.”

CICOA is also recognized in this year’s list with a specialty award for Training, representing the high level of formal career training our employees receive. Employees gave standout scores for the criteria, “I get the formal training I want for my career.”

In all, 129 companies from the 23-county region made this year’s Indy Star Top Workplaces list. The Indy Star published the complete list of Top Workplaces in a special edition on May 5, 2024. For more information about the companies featured, visit topworkplaces.com/award/indystar.
