How Shuttle Service Works
CICOA keeps a regular schedule for pick up and destinations to grocery stores*, banking institutions, shopping centers* and special group outing locations within Indianapolis/Marion County. CICOA shuttle service is provided to Indianapolis seniors at a discounted rate.
*limit 4 bags maximum for grocery and shopping due to space
To use the shuttle service, an apartment complex must have a signed Shuttle Site Agreement on file with our office. This process can be started by contacting CICOA at (317) 803-6153 or emailing transportation@cicoa.org.
If your apartment complex offers CICOA shuttle service (see list below), each individual wishing to ride must complete and submit a Senior Transportation Application (Online / English / Spanish). Your application will be processed within 3-5 business days of receiving it.
Service Coordinators can schedule grocery shopping/shuttle services by calling (317) 803-6153 or emailing transportation@cicoa.org. Trips must be requested at least one week prior to trip date. Availability is not guaranteed.
CICOA also offers contracted shuttle services to other human services non-profit agencies for a cost-recovery contribution per hour per vehicle. A contracted Shuttle Site Agreement must be on file before any trips are scheduled. For more information, call (317) 803-6153 or email transportation@cicoa.org.
