Why does Careforth choose to support CICOA year-round as a Cultivator Corporate Partner?

CICOA’s mission in Central Indiana closely aligns with the mission of Careforth — to help our aged and disabled community members live successfully and as independently as possible in the community.

Who is Careforth?

Careforth (formerly known as Caregiver Homes) pioneered Structured Family Caregiving in Indiana in 2013. We are the largest SFC provider in the state, actively delivering services to thousands of families statewide.

The Careforth Way

Our mission is to surround family caregivers with connectedness, so they can confidently care for their loved ones at home.

We’re a relationship-based company who provide families with wraparound support that includes a real team of experts and are supported by technology. We improve the lives of family caregivers by keeping loved ones healthy and at home longer.

Why Caregiving Matters

More than 1 in 5 adults — a total of 53 million Americans — are unpaid family caregivers. Caregivers in the U.S. provide over $600 billion in unpaid care across the U.S.

We know that there is no greater influence on positive health outcomes than the caregiver. They are the most important member of the care team as they are the eyes and ears into the home.
