United Way of Central Indiana grant supports basic needs for older Hoosiers

CICOA Aging & In-Home Solutions has received a multi-year grant of $250,000 per year for the next three years from the United Way of Central Indiana (UWCI) Basic Needs Fund.

UWCI established the Basic Needs Fund to help stabilize households in crisis, maintain services for the most vulnerable neighbors, and provide supports to ensure longer term stability. This Basic Needs Fund supports services that have an impact on safe and affordable housing, healthy food access, transportation and health services. CICOA meets these basic needs for clients by:

CICOA is one of 72 United Way-accredited agencies to receive funding for services to meet the basic needs of Hoosiers and improve opportunities for families.
